In Dubai, for example, the government has expressed interest in developing a legal framework for the metaverse, with a focus on protecting the rights and interests of users. It is likely that the regulation of the metaverse will become an increasingly important issue in the coming years, as the technology continues to advance and the use of virtual shared spaces becomes more widespread. Dubai, a city in the United Arab Emirates, has been at the forefront of developing and implementing new technologies, and it is possible that they may play a role in the development of the metaverse. In the past, Dubai has embraced virtual reality and augmented reality technologies, and has even announced plans to build a "city of the future" called the Dubai Creek Harbor, which will feature cutting-edge technology and infrastructure. It is possible that the metaverse could play a role in this city of the future. The Government of Dubai of Legal Affairs Department held its third virtual law conference entitled (Legal Regulation of the Metaverse) which discussed opportunities for developing law practice and legislative requirements related to augmented virtual reality applications. The technological revolution for the legal sector and its future, and related challenges, technical, and legislative necessities to ensure the practice of law in a secure digital environment. Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) said it had entered the metaverse with the establishment of its Metaverse HQ, making it the first regulator to have a presence in the emerging digital space.
