Sharjah has launched new digital donation platforms to make giving faster, safer, and easier. The project, led by Sharjah Charity International (SCI), arrived just in time for Ramadan.
The new smart application was officially launched on Monday, January 12, 2026 at a ceremony held at the House of Wisdom. The network of smart donation screens was later introduced on February 18, 2026.
Whether you use a phone, a public kiosk, or a website, donating is now simple. Here are the new ways you can help.
New App with a Smart Helper
The new SCI smart app (on Apple Store and Google Play) makes donating a one-step process. It includes an AI helper named "Ahmed" to guide you and complete your donation in seconds.
Smart Screens at Malls and Airport
Smart donation screens are now placed at 18 locations across Sharjah. You can find them at Sahara Centre, Mega Mall, Sharjah Airport, and some hospitals. These screens accept credit cards, QR codes, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay.
Other Easy Ways to Give
- Online: Donate via the SCI website.
- By Phone: Call 80014 or send an SMS.
- Handheld Devices: 256 secure payment devices carried by volunteers.
- Mosques & Hotels: 578 donation cabinets in mosques and 730 boxes in hotels.
- Grocery Stores: 6,729 small donation boxes in shops across Sharjah.
- Bank Transfer: Send money directly to Islamic banks.
- Zakat Calculator: The app helps you calculate your Zakat exactly.
Fast, Safe, and Helpful
These new tools make giving easy for everyone. They support the "Joud" (Generosity) Ramadan campaign, which aims to raise Dh150 million to help over two million people with food, medical aid, and more.
Now you can help others with just a few taps, wherever you are.
