Transition of Dubai Taxi Corporation into PJSC

Pursuant to the issuing of Dubai Law No. 21/2023,  the legal status of Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) will be transitioned into a public joint-stock company (PJSC). DTC will have its own financial and administrative independence and will operate for 99 years from the date of registration in the commercial register. DTC will offer specialized transportation using self-driving vehicles and flying taxi services with adherence to existing regulations apart from transportation services for taxis. The law does not specify commencement  and the percentage of company shares which will be included as part of the public offering.
